The Parenting Courses
The Parenting Teenagers Course starts Wednesdays, Feb 1st, 7-9pm in the Canon Wood Hall (Kings Bridge Rd. entrance) for 5 weeks. This brand new course includes video presentation (with lots of clips of interviews with other parents and teens) and discussion (in groups of 2's and 3's). Topics are: Keep your long-term aim in mind, Meet you teenagers' needs, Set effective boundaries, Help develop your teenagers' emotional health, and Pass on values and help them make good choices. This course is for every type of parenting situation, including parenting on your own, step-parenting and parenting as a couple. Cost is $20 each which includes the manual and snacks.
