St. Thomas' Church

Welcome!

Welcome web-visitors!

On behalf of the present day garrison of Christ's followers stationed at "The Old Garrison Church", I welcome you to our web-page. We hope you will be able to easily navigate your way through this site and find the information you are looking for.

Last year we celebrated 175 years of God's faithfulness to our congregation, housed in our original church building from 1836! We had special gatherings and events every month until our grand finale celebrations in September but our real heart is not in the past. Our heart is to see what God has in store for the people of our parish and city today!

St. Thomas' is a downtown Anglican community which offers a rich and diverse spiritual and community life and worship experience for believers and seekers of God in this place.

Browse through our website. We would be happy to answer any questions you have by email, or phone, and even happier to welcome you to our worship, fellowship, outreach work or spiritual formation groups.

God bless and keep you close to His heart!

John Paul Westin
Rector

(St. Thomas' parish is part of the Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador, an Alpha partner, a Willow Creek Association member church, and a living member church of the Body of Christ in the city Church of St. John's.)
